Hi, I'm Ghazi. Senior Frontend Engineer based in Tunis.
Most of my days are spent making interfaces feel fast and keeping codebases from becoming a disaster six months from now. I've been at this long enough to know the hardest problems aren't technical. They're usually about how engineering and product talk to each other. (Or don't.)
What I care about
- Perceived Performance. If it makes the user wait and think, it's broken. Features don't matter on a slow interface.
- Maintainable Code. The real test isn't whether it works today. It's whether the next person can touch it without sweating.
- Honest Communication. The gap between what engineering builds and what product wanted is almost never in the code.
Background
I've spent the last several years on enterprise-scale platforms. Migrating legacy systems, fixing architectural problems, and working closely with designers to make sure what ships actually makes sense to the person using it.
